ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਦਸਵੀਂ ਪਾਸ (ਹਿਸਾਬ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਪਾਸ) ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਡਾਕ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿਚ GDS (ਗ੍ਰਾਮੀਣ ਡਾਕ ਸੇਵਕ) ਦੀ ਪੋਸਟ ਲਈ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਫੀਸ 100 ਰੁਪਏ ਹੈ।
ਉਮਰ - 18 ਤੋਂ 40

ਦਸਵੀਂ ਦੇ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੋਣ ਹੋਣੀ ਹੈ (70% - 80% ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਚਾਂਸ ਹਨ)। 60 ਘੰਟੇ ਦਾ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਕੋਰਸ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।

GDS (BPM ਜਾਂ ABPM) ਦੀ ਤਨਖਾਹ 10000 ਤੋਂ 14500 ਤੱਕ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

5-7 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਐਕਸਪੀਰੀਐਂਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ GDS ਤੋਂ CLASS IV (ਪੀਅਨ / MTS) ਦਾ ਪੇਪਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਮੋਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਸ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਹਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਜਨਰਲ, SC, BC, OBC ਕੋਟੇ ਦੀ 1-1 ਪੋਸਟ ਹੈ, ਜਿਆਦਾ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਨੀਚੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਲਿਸਟ ਦੇਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਫਤਰ ਲਈ ਫੋਨ ਤੇ ਲੈਪਟੋਪ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਦਫਤਰ ਲਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਪਲਵਧ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਜਮੀਨ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ (ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਮਾਪ 10ft x 10ft ਹੈ)
ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੋਣੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ 250 ਤੋਂ 500 ਰੁਪਏ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅਲੱਗ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।

ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਜਾਂ ਸਕੂਟਰ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਚੋਣ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ 1 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਸਕਿਓਰਟੀ ਜਮਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
